Chinese corona vaccine trial approved in Bangladesh
The Bangladesh Medical Research Council (BMRC) has approved the experimental application of a Chinese-invented vaccine for the treatment of Kovid-19 virus in Bangladesh. This is the first time in the country that a vaccine from China has been approved by the ICDR and BK for a phase-3 trial. As a result, the third pthe vaccine is goingBangladesh.
BMRC director confirmed the matter on Sunday. Mahmud-uz-Jahan.
He said Beijing had sought permission to experiment with Chinese-made vaccines in Bangladesh. The matter has been approved in principle by the National Committee in this regard.
Dr. Mahmud-uz-Jahan said that initially there is talk of experimental application of this vaccine in 7-8 government covid hospitals.
The name of the Chinese vaccine manufacturer is Synovac Research and Development Company Limited.
It is learned that the second phase of the coronavirus vaccine invented by China has already been tested. Preparations for the third stage of the test are underway. China National Biotech Group (CNBG), a Chinese state-owned enterprise, has already received approval in the United Arab Emirates to conduct large-scale third-stage vaccine tests. Besides, the country is also interested in testing it in Bangladesh.
Bangladesh sees the trial of Chinese vaccine as positive to ensure the availability of vaccine.
Earlier, while bidding farewell to the Chinese delegation to Bangladesh, Health and Family Welfare Minister Zahid Malek said that China would send Bangladesh on a priority basis if the corona vaccine was discovered.
