Israeli airstrikes:Gaza

Israel has resumed airstrikes in Gaza, Palestine 03 August 2020. Israeli warplanes have launched a new offensive in the Gaza Strip. Israel claims that the attack was carried out in central Gaza, targeting Hamas, the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement. Al Jazeera reports. Israeli warplanes struck west of the town of Deir al-Bala. Israeli media have claimed that three rockets hit a base of the Izz al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas. Several explosions could be heard from the eastern part of the city of Khan Yunus. The Israeli military claims that a rocket fired from the Gaza Strip shot down Israel's Iron Dome missile system. Israel then launched an air strike on Gaza.
