The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has sought a clear explanation for the statement made by the Department of Health on Saturday stating that the Department of Health has entered into an agreement with Regent Hospital on the instructions of the higher authorities of the Ministry.
The ministry has asked for a clear explanation within the next three working days of what was considered before the agreement with Regent Hospital, what steps were taken to comply with the terms and conditions of the agreement and what was meant by instructions from the ministry's higher authorities.
The order, signed by Deputy Secretary Sharmin Akter Jahan on Sunday, provides for a clear explanation within the next three working days of what was considered before the agreement with Regent Hospital, what steps were taken to comply with the terms quoted after the agreement and what the higher authorities of the ministry meant. Instructions were requested to do so.
Earlier on Saturday, the health department said in a press release that JKG had cheated with them. The Department of Health is a subsidiary of JKG Oval Group of Limited.
