The Department of Health said on Tuesday that coronavirus had killed 35 more people in the country in the past 24 hours. A total of 3,000 Kovid patients died in the country. During this time, 2,908 people have been identified. A total of 2 lakh 29 thousand 185 people were identified in the country. In the last 24 hours, 1,631 people have recovered and a total of 1 lakh 26,414 people have recovered. Additional Director General of the Health Department Nasima Sultana gave this information in a regular briefing. He said that in the last 24 hours, 12,614 samples were tested and corona was identified in the bodies of 2,906 people. A total of 2 lakh 29 thousand 185 people were affected. Dr. Nasima said 35 people had died in the last 24 hours. Of these, 26 are men and 9 are women. A total of 3 thousand died. Of those killed so far, 2,357 are males and 742 are females. He added that 1,631 people have recovered in the last 24 hours and 1 lakh 26,414 people have recovered so far. The recovery rate was 55.59 percent and the death rate was 1.31 percent. The deadly coronavirus, which originated from China in December last year, has spread to 213 countries and regions around the world, including Bangladesh. The World Health Organization (WHO) declared the coronavirus crisis an epidemic on March 11. The first Kovid-19 patient in Bangladesh was diagnosed on March 6 and the first patient infected with the disease died on March 18.
